Due to the Fort Dodge Public Library being closed to the public, we are offering Fort Dodge and rural Webster County residents who do not currently have a library card the opportunity to sign up for a “digital” library card.
A digital library card will work as a temporary, two-month card that will allow you to use our digital resources and materials – eBooks, eAudiobooks, streaming services, and databases.
Once the card expires, digital cardholders will need to come to the library with photo ID and proof of address to get their physical library card.
How it works:
- Fill out the form below.
- Our Adult and Teen Services Librarian will reach out via email in the next two business days with your “digital” library card number and instructions on how to start using your card. Our librarian is responding to requests from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, so thank you in advance for your patience.
PLEASE NOTE: If you already have a Fort Dodge Public Library card, you do NOT need a “digital” card to access digital materials. This is a new way for people to sign up for a library card without being present in the building.
