Do you love keeping things organized, enjoy working with people, and have a head for numbers? The Fort Dodge Public Library is hiring a full-time Administrative Coordinator.  This position blends behind-the-scenes work with front-line service. You’ll help manage budgets and reports, support programs, assist patrons, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED + 5 years related experience
  • OR Associate’s degree + 2 years experience
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience

 Applications will be reviewed as received. Interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis, and the position may close early if filled.

Purpose of Meeting

This is the first of monthly "Chit Chat" sessions put on by the Webster County Historical Society to promote the historical archives at the archives room in the Public Library. It's a FREE event to the public to come dressed up if they choose in beach wear, relax and enjoy the movies created by the Fort Dodge born director. He directed over 500 films in his career. Activities will be done to entertain the crowd. People attending should bring their own snacks/beverages (non alcoholic), beach towels, sunglasses, beach hats, etc. Items will be on display in regards to Sam Arkoff's career.
